Two more buddies who blog ...

Me, Jeff Kurtz, Chad Barr

Two more 'Buddies who blog' to add ... First of all are 'Anne and Chad'Barr'. Anne and Chad I knew from Camp Kuratli when I worked out there in the mid-90's. I got in touch with Anne again via Facebook, and it's great to see what they're both (And their new son) are up to since I knew them. I still think of them as teenagers in love ...

And then there's Jeff Kurtz ... (Even though I think it's his wife who actually writes the blog). Jeff is another ex-Camp Kuratli person and worked with me in the summer of '95. Jeff and I decided that we were going to form a band called 'The Absolute', me on guitar and Jeff I'm not sure ... We got as far as the name and that was it. Anyway, Jeff was a good friend to hang out with, and a very funny guy to be around - I miss my Camp K buddies, and thanks to Facebook I've got back in touch with some of them.

Anyway .. The picture above was taken by the timer on my camera, and is of me, Jeff and Chad round the back of the Tabernacle where we had been digging a trench in the summer of 1995 (I would have been aged 22 and a 28" waist!). For some reason we decided that we would daub S, A, and T on our chests ... I can remember that my S stood for 'Strange', Jeff assures me his A was for 'Awesome' (I'll take his word on that) and Chad's T? No idea ...

And I may look skinny in the picture, but I was toned ... Sigh ...
