Another buddy who blogs ...

Wish I could find a better picture, but hey ...

Added to the 'Buddies who blog' is Jenna.

I've known Jen since 1993 when I was a shy Englishman arriving at a Summer camp in Oregon to work as a counsellor. Jen was the assistant program director, so effectively my boss.

We hit it off over the summer and became good friends (Jen being the original "Bum girl" for 'Bryan and the BeachBums' - the summer camp band). I worked with Jen again in 1995 at camp, this time she was cook and I was 'Special Ed' (A job title that meant I did every job that summer apart from female counsellor and female lifeguard!). The picture is taken from 1995.

Jen and I kept in touch after I left camp for the final time, and Mia and I were delighted to have Jen and her husband Will over to stay - hopefully one day I'll find the photos again.

We had fun, doing the sites of London (Will at the top of St Pauls Cathedral is something I won't forget in a hurry .. Never seen someone SO scared of heights!), Jen and I drinking Starbucks whilst Will went to the bank, Will and I drinking Starbucks whilst Jen went round the Globe theatre, and then there was the day trip to Clacton ...

Crazy golf on the sea front, a visit to Clacton pier ... Charlotte loved Jenna and Will and 7 years later still talks about them.

And even though she is 6000 miles away, Jen is one of my bestest buddies - and I miss her.
