So this is Christmas ... And what did I do?

So ... Christmas ...
I was given a 500 piece 'Simpsons' jigsaw as a Christmas present, so whilst Mia and the in-laws hit the Boxing Day sales I had a go at doing it.

Charlotte and Bethany did attempt to join in with my jigsaw-putting-together, but soon got bored of looking for edges and moved off to play with something else. Now the problem was I was doing my jigsaw on the dining table, and the table would be required for tea later that day so after painstakingly getting the edging all done, I had to put the jigsaw back in the box.

Last night I had another go ... 2 sodding hours spent on it, only to discover that the jigsaw hasn't been cut correctly which means that even though I have the outside done spot on, and lots of the inside - there's an issue when branching out from the middle and joining to the sides. Not impressed.

So I've decided I'm going to cut the jigsaw done the middle and instead of having a 500 piece jigsaw, I'll have 2 x 250 piece jigsaws. It's what Homer would want. (Actually he'd want a doughnut, but whatever ...)
Jackson also got a Christmas present, though I did have to disappoint Bethany by not walking him with this Christmas gear on ...
